My family celebrated my Mom’s 90th birthday this past Saturday (10/17) and the staff at Rosebud Naperville did an exceptional job. Sandra, the Events Manager, was extremely accommodating, kind, and made an effort to make my Mom feel special. Saul and Nick, our waiters, were attentive, professional and not to mention, cheerful! Lastly, the food was excellent: portions were generous, and the dishes well prepared. I would enthusiastically recommend Rosebud Naperville- 5 Stars!

After a family funeral, we were treated most graciously. The food was so, so good! I would absolutely return for another meal

Wonderful Salmon & great chicken parmesian along with banana cream pie/cake. Maggie also provided great service. Highly recommended eatery.

The food is definitely delicious and involves surprising all your taste bud with absolute flavor in every bit. A definite must in great dinning!

My family and I had the very best time! The food was perfect in every way, fresh tasting, dancing on your tongue, generous portions, so much to choose from…. And the staff! Being greeted by a gentleman that helped me with seating, and best waiter ever, Dante! So helpful and knowledgeable, and kind. We will be back at next opportunity and bringing others!

Rosebuds seems to be a great place to dine in, I went in for take out just for a horchata. Unfortunately, they did not have it. But they offered me another drink instead that was fruity and still delicious. I offered to pay for it, but the manager told me it was on the house even when I insisted a tip or anything. They were so nice about it, allowing me to try it for free In the first place. I believe his name was Adam, but if it wasn’t then you know who you are. Thank you so much, and I’m coming in to dine next week with my friend!!

I love zuppa di mare! I really like Italian restaurants, though I've been to a few but none have truly impressed me. Today's restaurant was amazing, not only because the food was delicious but also very flavorful. The tomato flavor was very refreshing and not cloying at all. The seafood was plentiful and delicious, but the portion was enough for at least two people to finish. Plus, this is a special dish, not available every day. We were lucky; it was our first time there and they had it on offer. We came today because my colleague recommended it. I will definitely come again.

Saul took truly excellent care of us! He was very attentive. We had an excellent, outdoor seat on a beautiful evening, and the food was superb! We enjoyed the Rosebud's chopped salad and the gnocchi Bolognese, as well as the fresh, warm bread. The Italian sausage side dish was also delicious.An absolutely delightful night out at an excellent restaurant. We highly recommend Rosebud's!

First time at Rosebud Naperville and the Steak was good! The baked WHOLE chicken Vesuvio was delicious! The staff was very kind. The GM was present and festive. Espresso martini was delicious and with real espresso. Atmosphere was great for special dining or just showing up for dinner. Waiter boxed our meals to go that we didn’t finish. The portions were great!

The trend in Italian dining has leaned to contemporary dishes, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but if you want good ol’ classic American-Italian or, better yet, Chicago-Italian, Rosebud is the perfect choice. We started with Italian sausage and peppers as an appetizer. Delicious! With some of their of that bread, you can easily make this generous dish a meal in itself. Chicken Vesuvio, a Chicago classic, was perfectly seasoned and perfectly sauced. Absolutely fantastic. Since I was already getting full after the appetizer, I changed my original plan and went with something light- the seafood salad. Again, a generous amount of seafood in a delicious vinaigrette that was perfect. I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Lucky for me, we’re going to be visiting again next week and this is already on our list of places to eat!Service was great! Our server was attentive and helpful with navigating our menu options. The ambiance of their recently remodeled space was comfortable and hinted to the rat pack era- very charming.We didn’t have dessert but we will this time! Beautiful desserts were being shared at tables all around us because yes, they’re also big and shareable!Can’t wait until next week!

I’m not sure why this place has only 4.1 stars. We came here for my birthday dinner and had no problems. Our server was friendly, we were sat immediately, and our service was prompt. The food was amazing and warm. The vodka sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. The bread was toasty warm when brought to our table. The servers ran around endlessly filling water glasses and clearing tables of dirty dishes. Our server was busy, but checked in often and never made us feel forgotten. Drinks were delivered promptly and were delicious. I even got a flaming sparkler and a couple cannolis as a birthday treat at the end. The environment inside felt very elegant and welcoming. I would definitely visit Rosebud again.

Rosebud food is fantastic. All new look and reopened.

The food was great as I ordered the brick chicken. The drinks were good and the waiter was friendly. Definitely will be returning to try out more of their food.

The Rosebud is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Alex and George and manager Christian and Scott is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing chicken vesuvio. Must come back. 10/10.

My dinner wasn’t what I expected, and it was changed immediately with a great suggestion! Just a really nice level of customer service. Plus delicious food.

Absolutely delicious Dover Sole and Short Rib risotto. Love the dining room with its amazing windows.

The fried calamari was light and really tasty. The lunch eggplant stack was also light and enjoyable. The gnocchi bolegnese was rich and prepared perfectly.The service from Nick was top-notch. A lovely lunch!

Went there for lunch. Very impressed. Restaurant is beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was perfect.

We've been before but this time after the renovation it was much better. Vibrant and refreshing. Our waitress was on point.

One of my favorite Italian restaurantsI am located exactly between 2 locations, Naperville & Lemont. So yeah, I'm willing to drive e 25min to pick up the orders.Fav food is veal/chicken Parm. With baked clams. We wish that clams would be larger than a quarter sized! The sauce, wow! Howeve, all food are abundant and always leftovers for another meal or 2 and even for 3 helpings Enjoy!

We have truly missed this excellent Italian restaurant due to it closing during renovations, but now it's back and still excellent! The great chicken Marsala and the fusilli carbonara were outstanding. Our server Nicola P was excellent! A wonderful dining experience!

We order carry out… So happy the restaurant participates with InKind lots of gluten free options- up charge is the norm most restaurants… the portions for chicken Parmesan are huge enough for 2-3 meals.. I’m a lifelong resident I know short cuts etc to bypass limited parking at River Square.

Mr. Lorenzo our server and waitstaff Mr. Galel gave great srrvice. The food was delicious! Mr. Christian the manager was very kind in making sure our evening was enjoyable.

I sat at the bar with Joe, he was absolutely wonderful, so charismatic, and took amazing care of me. Was so quick to get me a drink and made it absolutely amazing. He was able to accommodate me with making my espresso martini with Baileys. Highly recommend sitting with Joe. Whether it’s in the bar or in the dining room!

Although we arrived @ nearly closing time last night, we were graciously greeted by Nicola, Nick, who provided Kim, Dean, Barbara & me good dining experience. Having wait staff like Nicola will keep us coming back...Thanks again Nick!

Simply excellent. I cannot emphaize enough how good this place is.The food we got was excellent, all of the staff were so friendly and it is just enjoyable.Is it expensive? Yes. But it is more than worth the price.

Saul was an amazing host.We've been before but we brought out party of 5 with a reservation and got sat immediately, were attended to constantly, and had a phenomenal experience.We will be back, again, for sure.Highly recommend this gem for an authentic Italian experience in a beautiful setting with top notch service.

For a Chicago Restaurant Group, the newly remodeled Rosebud Naperville has all the qualities of the original Rosebud on Taylor Street in Chicago! Thanks to management, service and classic recipes and cooks, it is a must!

She greeted us with a genuine smile, made us feel welcomed instantly, and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly professional — you can tell she truly cares about making every guest feel special.

We’ve been waiting for the reopening of the Rosebud in Naperville & finally made it last night. It was a celebration for our granddaughter’s Fall piano recital as well as her early bday celebration too. Our server , Saul was excellent . He was very attentive & made sure we had everything we needed . Of course the food was phenomenal & didn’t disappoint at all. We can’t wait to go back .

Update 11/14/25Well they finally opened Rosebuds back up.looks great inside, they did a nice job, much better than before , bar still small but so much better than prior. Food was excellent, photos say it all. Ceasar salad , veal Vessuvio and spaghetti and meatballs, just outstanding!Lucas was outstanding but really sad to see no bar seating. Veal parm and whitefish was Outstanding

Love the make-over! Menu hasn’t changed much but somehow much easier to read. Food was outstanding & service was perfect. Heading back there tonight, as a matter of fact. Looking forward to it’

We went for a Sunday lunch with kids. Great place. The garlic knot is soooo good. My personal favorite is the sunday gravy with beef and tomatoes. Kids love their spaghetti and meatballs. And be prepared! Their portion is huge. We had to carry a lot leftover home.

Our server was excellent. Our meals were incredible. The ambiance was so elegant and everything was beautiful inside . It had been over 20 years since we last dined at Rosebud. Definitely exceeded our expectations. The server even brought us Cannoli’s on the house. It was a nice date night and will definitely return. Valet parking was also speedy! Top notch

Sit at the bar and hope Joe is working! Makes some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Can’t go wrong with anything food wise on the menu. Great portions and worth the price. 5/5!

I took my wife out for her birthday at the Naperville location. We were immediately greeted and seated by a very friendly hostess. Our waitress Tina, who was also the bartender was phenomenal very attentive and caring. Scott, the manager was very friendly and professional as we watched him help out from the time we got there till the time we left.(Great team work) You do not see customer service like that anymore. we will definitely be back soon. Also the restaurant is beautiful after waiting fourteen months. Glad to see you back!

The re-opening of Rosebud was very good. Their favorites are still on the menu, and there are some inspiring new dishes as well.The new layout of the restaurant dining and bar area is very inviting and feels more open than it used to, and the new fireplace gives it an upscale but very homey feel. The bar can now accommodate more people and it is away from the clammer of the kitchen.

Best pizza around! They have my loyalty anytime I'm downtown Naperville!
